   JEDDAH — A doctor was able to save the eye of a youth who was mistakenly shot in the face by a friend who did not realize that the gun was loaded. The victim was rushed to hospital where he was immediately operated on by consultant eye surgeon Dr. Yaser Al-Mazrouei. The operation lasted three hours but the youth has regained his eyesight.

   DAMMAM — A fire erupted Tuesday in a fiberglass factory at Dammam Industrial City. Five Civil Defense teams attended the fire and managed to control it and put it out. The fire resulted in damage to a 1,000 square meter area, but there were no casualties.
