New company awaits ministry nod to sponsor 40,000 Burmese

Ali Gharsan Okaz/Saudi Gazette MAKKAH — A Saudi company is expected to get final approval from the Ministry of Interior to transfer the sponsorship of 40,000 Burmese workers. The company will act as a mediator between these workers and their prospective Saudi employers. They will be able to work in 25 professions.
