House fire claims life in Awamiyah

QATIF — A house fire in Qatif’s Awamiyah neighborhood killed a young woman and injured two others. Eastern Province police spokesman Lt. Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti said Civil Defense and Red Crescent teams attended the fire. The body was taken to the mortuary and the injured to hospital, while investigations into the cause of the fire are underway.
