The Mufti and expat levy

Dr. Mazin Baleelah Al-Madinah    The Ministry of Labor has recently imposed a SR2,400 annual levy on expatriates for renewing their residency permits and work licenses starting the beginning of the current Hijra year (mid-November). The private sector and the chambers of commerce objected to the decision.
