TAIF — A Saudi man was executed on Monday for murdering a compatriot. The Interior Ministry said the killer was Rami Al-Khaldi and the victim Raad Al-Hathali. Al-Khaldi stabbed his victim three times in the chest after a fight between them. The killer was sentenced to death by the Court of Appeals and the Supreme Court.

Family dies in Najran crash
NAJRAN — A family of six died in an accident on the Najran-Al-Sharourah highway. Najran Red Crescent spokesman Saud Al-Duwais said they received reports of a crash involving a truck and a car. The paramedics recovered the bodies of three men, a child and two women from the wreckage. The victims were taken to the morgue.

Expired food products seized
The Ministry of Commerce and Industry in Riyadh seized more than 5,000 rotten food and other expired and fake products. The seized goods included medical and electrical equipment.
