One dies in road accident near Makkah
MAKKAH — A woman died and two others injured after they were involved in a road accident. Makkah Red Crescent spokesman Ali Al-Ghamdi said the victims were a family in a car that overturned while they were traveling on the highway to Makkah. Drugs smuggler shot dead
JAZAN — The Border Guard shot a smuggler and recovered 12,000 amphetamine pills from him. Officers reported the smuggler was trying to escape the guards and resisting arrest. The guards said they were obliged to use force and shot him dead before inspecting his vehicle.

Unlicensed warehouse raided
TABUK — The municipality seized 59 cartons of drinks stored incorrectly in a warehouse. Tabuk Municipality Health Inspection Director Ahmad Al-Zamhari said the warehouse was premises without a license and inspectors seized 50 cartons of juice, nine cartons of water that were stored incorrectly and a large amount of expired food.
