1,375 cars seized in one week
A traffic campaign in Riyadh led to more than 1,375 cars from rental stores being impounded in one week because they were illegally parked, according to Riyadh traffic department spokesman Col. Hasan Al-Hasan. More than 2,400 drivers were also caught committing various traffic violations and there were some 4,000 recorded instances of motorists running red lights.
