Three die in horrific highway accident
JANDALAH, Jazan – Three men were killed while another three were seriously injured when two vehicles collided Saturday on a highway here. Civil Defense firefighters and Red Crescent paramedics arrived at the scene shortly after the accident was reported. The injured were rushed to Al-Darb General Hospital. Eyewitnesses blamed high speed for the accident.

Ethiopian maid attempts suicide
DAMMAM – An Ethiopian maid was rushed to hospital after trying to take her own life at her employer’s home, said Eastern Province police spokesman Lt. Col. Ziyad Al-Ruqaiti. The maid was found unconscious at the backyard after apparently drinking detergent. The police opened an investigation to find out why the woman was trying to commit suicide.
