JEDDAH — Jeddah police busted a liquor den operated by two Indians in a residential building in Al-Nuzha neighborhood. The two had taken precaution to cover their suspicious activity in the apartment building, but investigations led to their whereabouts. Police found 20 barrels and liquor bottles ready for distribution inside the apartment.

Three gas cylinders shut down a bridge

Civil Defense cordoned off the area where three cylinders accidentally fell from a truck transporting them over Al-Dahhas Bridge in Huwayya. Civil Defense teams arrived at the scene, closed down the bridge and prevented traffic from crossing until it was safe. The truck was transporting the materials to a desalination plant nearby.

Saudi man killed in road accident

A Saudi driver was killed when he crashed in Al-Baha. Civil Defense and police arrived at the location but found the man dead in the car. According to the police, the man could have been driving at high speed when he lost control and crashed on the mountain side of the road. Police are still investigating.
